Marketing/PR Assistant
To work as part of the marketing and PR team to deliver marketing and PR projects whilst supporting the development and consistency of the brand. This covers all of our works and projects in a wide range of communications and channels, from digital marketing to PR and content development to events organising and more.
The Role:
– Work with the Marketing Director to deliver marketing and PR activity and projects to deadline and within budget.
– Become an expert in the product range, updating marketing and PR materials and ensuring all marketing/PR activity is developed, working with other teammates to both generate ideas and resolve issues.
– Manage and coordinate the production and delivery of marketing and PR materials.
– Support with wider marketing initiatives and campaigns such as launching offers and promotions and supporting campaigns
– First point of call for products requiring support with the promotion of marketing/PR material
– Support the marketing/PR team with administration duties and procedures.
– Embrace and promote the brand values.
– Occasionally, you may be asked to perform additional duties or duties unrelated to your role after appropriate training has been given.
Ideal Candidate and Qualifications:
– At least three years of experience in working related marketing/PR function or higher education obtained relating to marketing
– Excellent communication skills and a strong grasp of both verbal and written English language
– Good organisational and planning skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at any one time
– Meticulous attention to detail
– Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
– Strong skills in social media marketing and deep knowledge of Google, Meta, and Pinterest ads
– Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere (or equivalent)
– Good relationship skills and strong team player
– Creative outlook with the ability to generate ideas
– Be a self-motivator
– Passionate about improving customer experiences
– Flexible approach to working hours and days – may include business trip visits across the UK, US and rest of the world.
– Driving licence required
This role is based in Hackney, London, from 10 am to 6.00 pm Mon to Fri, and entails a 3-month probationary period.

Operations and Customer Service
Logistics Responsibilities:
– Daily liaison and coordination with the third-party warehouse with regard to orders and stock management.
– Communication with the production and logistics department with regard to order production and finished goods shipments.
– Owning the relationship with logistics partners to ensure smooth and timely deliveries of orders, offering the highest standard of customer service throughout.
– Identify and resolve problems related to inventory. Analyse, investigate and identify stock discrepancies by conducting weekly stock counts.
– Be the main point of contact for all customer queries regarding order processes and deliveries.
Customer Service and Admin Responsibilities:
– Be knowledgeable about Otto’s collections in order to answer customer queries over the phone and via email. (Full training will be provided)
– Resolve product or delivery-related customer complaints in line with Otto’s terms and conditions.
– Monitor company inboxes and ensure all queries are answered by relevant departments in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience:
– An advanced level of Turkish and English is a must.
– Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
– Experience in a similar customer service role is essential.
– Eligible to work in the UK.
